    This school was one of the oldest school of puri(old district).Now it is in Khurda district.The school had a big hostel sufficient to provide boarding for 100 students.Due to lack of funds, now it is in a poor condition. Many alumni of the school are in very good post starting from IFS, IITians, Research scholar, etc.

    This school was built by Mr. Dasarathi Pattnaik in the year 1927. It was the 3rd High School in whole puri Dist. Students came to this schoo in the radius of near about 60k.m. at that time. The hostel which is running at that time was the capacity of near about 1500 student. All the necessery development of this school was done by Mr. Dasarathi Pattnaik. Now the Govt. of Orissa don't do such action to improve the education in this school last 20 years. So the students of this village also go other better school(Like cities).
